I moved from Thorntown in 1965 to State Center, Iowa because of my fathers transfer within US Dept of Agriculture. I lived in Iowa until graduation from University of Northern Iowa in 1974. From there I moved to Melbourne, Victoria, Australia and taught in public schools for 3+ years, moved to Indonesia and taught in small private international school for one year. On my way back to live in US I called and was interviewed at Singapore American School and was given a job teaching 5th grade. Needless to say I loved it. Stayed for nearly 35 years moving into being a librarian the last 18 years.
Had some wonderful adventures and lived a great life. It is good to be back in the US. It is like moving to a whole new place.
Look forward to hearing from anyone who might remember me and want to catch up.
