Linda Kay Summers, 73, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2016, at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon, Indiana. She was born on August 27, 1942 in Lebanon, a daughter to the late Cecil Oscar Venis and Illo Pearl (Robison) Venis.
A longtime resident of Boone County, Linda attended Thorntown and Lebanon Schools.
On February 12, 1966, she was married to Morris Lee Summers in Lebanon, Indiana. Morris passed away on October 28, 1993.
Linda had worked as a cook for five years at Parkwood Healthcare. She also worked at the Westside Café and since 1991 at the Elks Lodge. She had attended the Light House Baptist Church in Lebanon.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Linda loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral Services are planned for 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at the Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, Lebanon, Indiana.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until time of service, on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at the funeral home in Lebanon.
