James was born on October 6,1948 and graduated from THS in 1966. 

James served in the U.S. Army, from 1969 to 1971, achieving the rank of SP5.  He served with distinction in Viet Nam.

After his military servicce, James moved to South Bend and married a lady from there, He worked as an accountant for an RV company, He and his wife raised three children.

James was afflicted with cancer and died August 31, 1996.
