Robert Dean Moore (Bob)

May 28, 1954 - July 10, 2022

Robert "Bob" Dean Moore, age 68, formerly of Thorntown passed away Sunday, July 10th, 2022. He was a graduate of Thorntown High School in 1974 and in 1981 served in the U.S. Army Reserve.

Bob worked most his life as a truck driver, retiring this past February from Enterest Transportation. He was also a lifetime member of the Fraternal Order of the Lebanon Eagles 2062, where he, and his late brother, Greg, frequently spent their time. Bob also enjoyed the outdoors: fishing, hunting for crawdads, camping, and days at the lake. He loved listening to classic rock and could never pass up a good comedy movie. One of his favorite hobbies was getting together with friends and watching a few good races at the drags. Other hobbies he enjoyed were metal detecting, mechanics, and home improvement projects.

Bob was a loving boyfriend, father, and grandfather. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert J. Moore and mother, Shirley Ann Butler; sister Debbie Singer; and 2 brothers, Johnny and Greg Moore. He is survived by his brother Rocky Butler and 2 sisters, Rita Watson and Edwina Butler; 3 daughters, Jennifer Moore, Valerie Fox, Rachel Mitchell and her husband, Justin; and 8 grandchildren

Celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 30th at the Eagles in Lebanon, 2140 N Lebanon St, Lebanon, IN 46052.
