Thomas Earl Bolen

Thomas Earl Bolen, 61, of Thorntown, passed away July 15, 2016 at his residence in Thorntown.

Thomas was born on September 15, 1954, in Indianapolis, the son of the now late James W. and Mary Ann (Lundy) Bolen.

Thomas started out as a farmer in Thorntown. He then worked for Frontier Co-op in Thorntown for 18 years. He also owned his own landscaping company for 16 years. Thomas was a member of the American Legion and the VFW in Lebanon. He loved his rabbits, Harley Davidson motorcycles, fishing, and Pink Floyd.

Survivors include his partner Tonya Vichkon Haggard of Thorntown; daughters Grace Ann and Abbie Nicole Bolen of Colfax; sisters Peggy (Gene) Poe of Thorntown, Pam (Gary) Dickerson of Darlington, and Nanette (Jay) Perrault; and his brother Jim (Sharon) Bolen of Thorntown. In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his brother John Bolen.

Family and friends will gather Saturday, July 23, 2016 for visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 12 p.m. with the Reverend Glenn Jewell officiating in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon. Thomas will be laid to rest at Bethel Hill Cemetery in Thorntown.
