Rita G. Martin, 70, of Thorntown, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Zionsville Meadows. She was born in Lebanon, Indiana on January 15, 1948, the daughter of the late Joe J. Reagan and Bonnie L. (Small) Reagan. 

Rita graduated from Thorntown High School in 1966. 

In Mechanicsburg, Indiana on May 27, 1967, Rita was married to Charles W. Martin. Mr. Martin survives. 

She worked in several daycares then worked in the production division at Kauffman Engineering; she retired in 2010.

Rita enjoyed camping and traveling to many places including Hawaii, Germany and Graceland. She was a member of Lebanon Christian Church. Rita truly enjoyed time with her family, especially being with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Rita was preceded in death by one grandson, Nicholas Drew Witte-Caldwell. 

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 28, 2018, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana with Rev. Kurt Alexander. 

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 27 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home in Lebanon. Interment will follow at the Shannondale Cemetery in Shannondale, Indiana.
