Margaret Jane (Wyant) Clouser

Margaret “Jane” ( Wyant) Clouser, 68, died peacefully at her home in Thorntown, Indiana on Thursday, May 14, 2015. She was born in Thorntown, Indiana, on November 14, 1946, a daughter of the late Fred L. and Inez Fay (Humphrey) Wyant.

Raised in Thorntown, Jane attended Thorntown High School.

On March 14, 1969, she was married to Harold C. Clouser in Thorntown; he survives. They had celebrated 46 loving years together.

For a period of time, Jane lived in California where she managed an apartment complex. She moved back to Thorntown in 1995 and had resided there since.

Jane was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and a dedicated homemaker. She enjoyed gardening and growing flowers. Jane had attended the United Methodist Church of Thorntown and was a life member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

Funeral Services are planned for 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 17, 2015, at Myers & Hunt Mortuary, 116 West Plum Street in Thorntown, Indiana, with Pastor Larry Truitt, officiating.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home in Thorntown on Sunday beginning at 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service.

Bob Hamm and wife, Ruby – Kokomo, Indiana
Three Sisters: 
Betty Lough and husband, Max – Thorntown, Indiana
Kay Kristiansen – Avon Park, Florida
Ruth Ann Wyant – Glendale, Arizona

Deceased: In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by a brother, Fred Hamm, and a brother-in-law, Bjorn Kristiansen.
