Alfred Haak - Class Of 1962

ALFRED H. HAAK Obituary of Oberlin, Ohio, formerly of Cleveland, passed away March 6, 2019. Beloved husband of 43 years to Gloria (nee Boloca); loving brother to Wilhelm; dear brother-in-law to Elaine Spencer and Gabriel Boloca (Alexandra); cherished uncle of Scott (Anneline) and Marie Spencer and many other nieces and nephews. Alfred graduated from Thorntown High School, Indiana, Class of 1962, and is a US Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He was the founder and operator of King Bronze Foundry on 37th and Payne in Cleveland up until his retirement in 1994. He leaves a legacy in Christ as a long-time dedicated councilman of St. Mary Romanian Orthodox Cathedral and was endeared to many friends in the community. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 10, 2019 from 2PM-8PM at the Sunset Chapel in Sunset Memorial Park, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 11, 2019 at 11AM at St. Mary Romanian Orthodox Church, 3256 Warren Rd., Cleveland 44111. Committal services to follow at the Westwood Abbey Mausoleum at Sunset Memorial Park.
