I ran across Tammy on a classmate type web site several years after her first bout with cancer. She was the same charming person I remembered from my senior year, 1960. She was talking about the future and how much she wanted to get on with life. I was looking forward to someday seeing her at a reunion or a banquet. Not long after our getting reacquainted, she passed. I really regret not staying in touch with her - she was such an inspiration. I can not think of Tammy without feeling a smile come across my face.
