While there, Jim established and operated a landscaping and lawn maintenance business. He also opened and operated another business, Jim’s Country Store. After the death of his parents, he relocated to Tucson to be near his family in Arizona.

Jim’s interests were competitive roller skating, camping and his vintage Lionel train collection.

He was laid to rest beside his parents, William K. Jaques and Bernice Jaques, and his sister, Ann Yvonne Jaques, at Maple Lawn Cemetery in Thorntown.

Arrangements were made by Desert Sunset Mortuary and Funeral Services in Tucson.
