Carrol Crouch (Coffman) - Class Of 1956

Carrol Coffman, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2015, at her residence in Thorntown, Indiana. She was born April 13, 1938 in Boone County, Indiana, the daughter of the late Alva and Pansy (Maiden) Crouch.

A life resident of Boone County, Carrol graduated from Thorntown High School in 1956. On June 1, 1962, she was married to Norman D. Coffman in Thorntown; he passed away January 18, 1995.

Carrol had worked as a secretary for Stewart Warner, Economy Fire & Casualty and later for Porter & Lehrman Law Office in Lebanon. 

Carrol was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed her family and friends, singing in the church choir, teaching Sunday school and playing bingo and cards. She was a member of the Ruth Circle, Thorntown American Legion Auxiliary and the assistant treasurer for the Thorntown United Methodist Church.

Visitation is planned for Wednesday, August 26, 2015 from 4 to 7:00 p.m. at Myers and Hunt Mortuary, 116 West Plum Street, Thorntown Indiana.  Funeral Services will be held at, 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 27, 2015 at Thorntown United Methodist Church, 201 North Market Street, Thorntown, Indiana.  Interment will follow services at Maple Lawn Cemetery in Thorntown.

Deceased: In addition to her parents and husband, Carrol was preceded in death by a brother; Donald “Don” Crouch; and half-brothers; Devon Woodard and Ed Woodard.
