Earl Timmons Jr., 75, of Noblesville, passed away Friday, Jan. 20, 2012, at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville.
He was born Feb. 14, 1936, to Gerald and Florence (Helmberger) Timmons in Frankfort.
Earl graduated from Thorntown High School in 1954. He served in the U.S. Army and worked as an insurance claims investigator, before retiring several years ago.
He enjoyed bowling, boating, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his son, Tim (Linda) Timmons of Crawfordsville; granddaughters, Cassandra Timmons of Chatham, N.J., and Cailee Timmons of West Baden; and brother, Richard (Sue) Timmons of Lebanon.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn E. Timmons, and an infant sister.
Services will be held at 2 p.m., today, Jan. 24, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 9900 E. 191st St., in Noblesville, with Father Tom Metzger officiating. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
Visitation was Monday at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to Our Lady of Grace Church
