Jack Lee Clouser

Mr. Jack Lee Clouser, 80, of Lebanon, died Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at his residence.  

Jack was born May 11, 1932 in Bowers, Indiana, He was the son of the late Evelyn (Thompson) and Daniel Clouser. He was married to Carol (Street) Clouser of Frankfort, she survives. In addition to his wife he is survived by children Diana (Clouser) Galvin of Spring Hill, Fla; Michael Clouser and wife Annie of Shanghai, China; Sandra (Clouser) Walsh and husband John of Mansfield, TX; Steven Clouser and wife Debbie of Lebanon and Tina (Clouser) Huff of Lebanon. He also leaves behind brothers Bueford Clouser of Lebanon, Richard Clouser of Whitestown, and Kenneth Clouser and Harold Clouser both of Thorntown; 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Danny Clouser Jr., son-in-law Terry Galvin, one grandson and one great-granddaughter.

Jack graduated from Thorntown High School in 1951. He worked at Shumate’s and the Lebanon Utilities; he also served in the 38th Division of the Indiana National Guard from 1949 to 1952. He enjoyed fishing, metal detecting, listening to country music and spending time with his family and friends. Jack was a long time member of One Way Christian Church.

Family and friends will gather Friday, March 15, 2013 for visitation from 10:00 am until time of services at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor Tom Wyatt officiating in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N.
