Jake had lived in California since shortly after he graduated from THS. I believe he was married twice. We kept in touch by phone, email and an occasional letter or card. Several years ago (5 or 6?) Jake and his friend, Grace Soo?, visited us in Honolulu. Howard Davis, also a classmate, was Jake's cousin. Howard died several years earlier. Jake lived with his father on a farm during high school, and during the week he often stayed in Thorntown with his aunt Milissa?. I walked past there on my way to school, so Jake and I often walked together. He had a great sense of humor, so we had a good time and became close friends. I will really miss him.
