Obituary for Tom Warmoth
Thomas Edward Warmoth, 75, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday morning, July 17, 2016, at his home in Thorntown, Indiana. He was born in Thorntown on March 24, 1941, a son of the late Ralph E. and Wilda A. (Johnson) Warmoth.
On June 23, 1961, he married Lois June (Ping) Warmoth in Whitestown. She passed away on February 25, 1983. He then was married to Sharon Louise (Cornett) Grissom Warmoth in Thorntown on October 5, 2002; she passed away on July 3, 2004. He recently married his longtime companion, Sarah L. “Sally” (Witt) Byrd, on February 16, 2016; she survives.
Tom graduated from Thorntown High School in 1960. He was a life-long resident of the Thorntown Community. He worked in Indianapolis as a press printer for J.C. Collins and Shepard Poorman Communications, retiring in 2002.
Tom was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and Eagles Club, both of Lebanon. He loved the outdoors, gardening and turtle hunting were favorite pastimes of his. He enjoyed riding horses and for many years, barrel raced in the rodeos. He was a proud father and grandfather and loved his family dearly.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2016, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Myers & Hunt Mortuary, 116 West Plum Street, in Thorntown, Indiana.
Funeral Services are planned Thursday, July 21, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home in Thorntown.
Interment will follow services at Maple Lawn Cemetery in Thorntown, Indiana.
