"Betty L. McBane Macy, 79, of Thorntown died on Sunday, July 13, 2008, in Columbus, IN.  She was the widow of Glyndoh Lloyd Macy.  Mrs. Macy worked at Goodyear Tire, operated the Sew N' So Shoppe in Thorntown, was a Kroger Deli employee, and a cashier at the Hooks Drug Store where she retired.  Funeral Services were held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 17, at Myers Mortuary in Lebanon where Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday.  A Family Interment will follow on July 18 at 11 a.m. at the Sugar Plain Cemetery in Thorntown.  Survivors include children, Mr. Kevin K. Macy of Indianapolis, Mrs. Candace A. Daupert and husband, Tim of Columbus, IN; and three grandchildren.  A son, Steven S. Macy; a brother, Robert McBane; and a sister, Mary Jane Kiem, are deceased.  Memorials may be made to Thorntown Christian Church or to the American Stroke Association.
