Rebecca (Beck Stockton) Russell 1949-2014 Lebanon Reporter The Lebanon Reporter Tue Apr 08, 2014, 03:09 AM EDT Mrs. Rebecca (Beck Stockton) Russell, 64, of Thorntown, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2014, at her residence.

She was born May 8, 1949, in Lebanon, a daughter of the now late Ted and Beverly (Riley) Stockton. A lifelong resident of Boone County, Beck attended Thorntown High School.

She was first married to James Stephan, who passed away on Nov. 27, 1997. On April 17, 2004, she was married to Randall L. “Randy” Russell in Thorntown. Mr. Russell survives.

Beck worked many years as a cook, and was last employed by Janus in Noblesville until her retirement. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her family and enjoyed baking and playing Bingo. Beck never met a stranger, and she loved to laugh. She leaves behind special people who took care of her including her nieces, Charlotte, Jeannette and Peggy, and a special friend, Sally Byrd.

Survivors also include her husband, Randall L. “Randy” Russell of Thorntown; son, Andy (Michele) Stephan of Lebanon; two brothers, Buster (Suzette) Stockton of Lebanon and Sam Stockton of Missouri; sister-in-law, Ida Stockton of Lebanon; two grandchildren, Tawni Kincaid of Avon and Levi Stephan of Lebanon; one great-grandson, Hunter Broyles; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews; and her four-legged “children,” Jack, Rusty, Tiger and Boots.Beck was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Howard “Butch” Stockton and Norman R. Stockton; a sister, Ruth Ann Stockton; and a son, Teddy Smith.

Visitation is 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Myers Chapel of Memories, with the Rev. Bud Moody officiating. Interment will follow services at Maple Lawn Cemetery in Thorntown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society for Boone County, P.O.
