Ike Warmoth - Class Of 1946

Irvine J. “Ike” Warmoth

Irvine J. “Ike” Warmoth, 84, of Lebanon, died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, at IU Medical Center, Indianapolis.

Ike was born Sept. 21, 1928, in Max, son of the now late Oral and Madge (Rich) Warmoth. He graduated from Thorntown High School in 1946.

He married Patricia L. Martin on June 26, 1953, in Zionsville. She passed away on May 10, 2006.

Ike owned a barber shop in Lebanon for 40 years, retiring in 1997.

He loved to help people with odd jobs, and he had a host of friends.

Ike was a member of the Church of God in Lebanon.

Survivors include his daughter-in-law, Dotty Warmoth of Lebanon; two grandchildren, Eric Warmoth and Caitlin Warmoth, both of Lebanon; one great-granddaughter, Kennedy of Lebanon; sisters-in-law, Wilma Bushman of Lebanon and Inda Setters of Zionsville; three brothers, Robert (Juanita) Warmoth of Poland, Ind., Charles (Lois) Warmoth of Lebanon and James Warmoth of Thorntown; and brother-in-law, Duane Johnson of Brenham, Texas.

He was preceded in death by a son, J.D. Warmoth, three brothers and one sister.

Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, at Russell & Hitch Funeral Home, 223 N. Meridian St., Lebanon. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 4, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gene Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Lebanon.
