Mr. Fred Keith, age 73, of Defeated Creek, TN,  died Sunday evening, September 20, 2020 at Sumner Regional in Gallatin, TN. He is survived by: wife, Carolyn Keith; sons, Tony Keith and wife Carol of Thorntown, IN; Freddie Keith of Defeated Creek; step-sons, Howard Nelson and wife Laura of Texas, Timothy Wilson and wife Tracy of Covington, IN, Rock Wallace and wife Mindy of Fort Wayne, IN, Bradley Arterburn and wife Heidi of Sacred Heart, MN; sister, Julie Roberts and husband Jim of Attica, IN; 5 grandchildren; 13 step-grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.

Fred was a member of the Class of 1965 at Thorntown H.S., Thorntown, IN.

He was proud of his Service to his Country, serving for many years.
Mr. Keith is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where his service will be conducted on Thursday afternoon, September 24 at 1:00 PM. Bro. Donny Payne and Eld. Michael Nesbitt will officiate. Interment with Military Honors in the Defeated Creek Memorial Gardens. Serving as active pallbearers are: Bruce Chaney, Bruce Wentworth, James Shoemake, Danny Bane, David Agee, Chuck McCrary; honorary pallbearers are American Legion #57.

Visitation will begin on Wednesday afternoon from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Thursday from 9:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.
