Mr. Arthur Lee Coffman, 76, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 9, 2016, at his home in Thorntown surrounded by his family. He was born in Thorntown, on March 20, 1940, to the now late Lon Coffman and Helen Lenore (Herms) Coffman. 
Arthur graduated from Thorntown High School in 1958 and after graduation he joined the U.S. Navy. 
He had worked for the Thorntown Lumber Company, Allfast Fastening Systems in San Anna, California, and Enderon in Thorntown.

Arthur had a love for old cars which he kept in pristine condition. He also attended car shows with his cars and won several trophies. He also enjoyed exotic animals.

Survivors include children Arthur Lee Coffman, Jr. of Lebanon, Lisa Kay Coffman of Thorntown, and Krista Lee Kaylor of Indianapolis; step-children John Brazil of Thorntown, and Karsen Brazil of Muise, Missouri; grandchildren Elijah Lee Coffman of Lebanon, Christopher Coffman of Indianapolis, Nicole Lenore Coffman of Riverside, California, Curtis Scott Hegel, Jr. of Lancaster, California, Brady Lee James Hegel of Lancaster, California, Tiffany Savanna (Rojo) Reynolds of Lebanon, Kaycee Darlene Dick of Indianapolis, Makala Kree Allen of Indianapolis; siblings Fred (Andi) Coffman of Lebanon, Ron (Linda) Coffman of Lebanon, Gerald (Linda) Coffman of Thorntown, Dennis Coffman of Thorntown, Doris Ann (Larry) Leslie of Thorntown; several nieces and nephews

In addition to his parents, Arthur was preceded in death by four wives. 
We would like to thank St. Vincent Hospice for the care of our father and grandfather. A special thanks goes out to his daughter, Lisa, his brother Dennis and friend Alex who cared for him during his illness along with other relatives and friends.
