JAMES ARTHUR "JIM" GREGG 27 March 1944, Lebanon, Boone, IN 5 Apr 2015, Indianapolis, Marion, IN Burial: Waynestown Masonic Cemetery Crawfordsville resident. Died at St. Vincent Hospital. Son of Joseph William and Edna Pearl Shirley Gregg. Married Nancy Jane Laughner August 23, 1969 in Waynestown. She survives. Also surviving sons Joe (Kimberly) and Aaron (Kim) Gregg; a sister Shirley Rae; and 6 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Joseph William Jr., Curley, and Jerry Thomas and an infant sister, Annabelle Lee. 1962 graduate of Thorntown High School. Served with the U.S. Army as an administrative specialist. Retired as a 'flat cutter operator' after 47 years with R.R. Donnelley. Jim enjoyed working with his grandchildren in the swine projects in 4-H and was a great fan of their school sporting activities. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, horses and to some was known as a 'Horse Training Professor'. Service 11 a.m. Thursday, April 9 at Family and Friends Funeral Home of Wingate with Pastor Ron Raffingnone officiating. Graveside military rites by Crawfordsville American Legion Post #72 and VFW. Visitation 5-8 p.m. Wednesday. Memorial donations to Wayne Winners 4-H Club
