Barb Rutherford (Lambert) - Class Of 1966

Barbara Sue (Rutherford) Lambert, 72, of Huntsville, Alabama passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2020.

She was born Barbara Sue Rutherford on May 2, 1948 in Lebanon, Indiana to the late Donald and Ida Corrine (Putman) Rutherford.

Barbara graduated from Thorntown High School in 1966.

Barbara married the love of her life, Paul Jeffery Lambert, on February 22, 1969 and they were married for 51 years until his passing in May of 2020.

 Throughout the years Barbara was employed by different manufacturing plants until retiring from Carrier in Indiana in 2017. At one point in her life, Barbara went to school to become a nail technician and worked in a salon in Lafayette, Indiana.

Barbara lived most of her life in Indiana until retiring with her husband to Huntsville, Alabama in December of 2017.

Barbara loved the Lord, cherished being with her family and always enjoyed cooking, baking, and crocheting. She was a very talented baker and made many wedding cakes for family and friends throughout her life. She was a woman of great strength and lived a selfless life devoted to the Lord, her husband, and her children. Barbara had a huge heart and always carried a desire to help others.

 Surviving is her Daughter, Angela (Tim) Riemann of Nolensville, Tennessee, Granddaughter, Bella Riemann, and two Grandsons, Brock and Max Riemann, Son, Joshua Lambert of Huntsville, Alabama, his fiancé Melissa Gallandar and her children, Riley and Natalie.

 Siblings include Sister, Carol (Jim) Shives of Indianapolis, Indiana, Brothers Brian (Susie) Rutherford of Lebanon, Indiana, Bob (Linda) Rutherford of Lafayette, Indiana, and Donald Rutherford of Greenwood, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul Jeffery Lambert, Granddaughter, Eleanor Riemann, Sister, Marcia Jean Betterton, and Brothers, Barry Rutherford and Robert Whitney.

 Service will be held on October 13, 2020 at Christ Church Nashville, Wallace Chapel at 9:00am and Graveside Service at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery at 11:00am to be laid to rest with her precious husband.
